Rebuilding the Bathroom from the Ground Up
We removed the old fixtures, wall linings, floor coverings and damaged materials to expose the original framing and plumbing. This allowed us to inspect the structure properly and complete the necessary repair services before rebuilding. New floor framing, plumbing lines and electrical connections were installed to suit the revised layout. We also prepared the wet areas with careful waterproofing to protect the walls and floor from moisture. Good waterproofing is not visible in the finished room, but is it important? Absolutely. It is one of the most critical parts of any lasting bathroom renovation.
A Brighter and More Practical Bathroom Makeover
The redesigned bathroom now features large neutral tiles across the floor and walls, giving the room a calm and spacious appearance. A freestanding bath sits beside the existing glass block wall, while the upgraded black framed window brings in natural light and provides privacy through its frosted lower panel. The open shower includes a frameless glass screen, rainfall shower, handheld fitting, recessed niche and strip drain.
A floating timber vanity with two countertop basins adds warmth and useful storage. Mirrored cabinets, wall mounted tapware and soft under cabinet light keep the design clean without making it feel clinical. Brushed metal fixtures complete the modern look and complement the grey tiling.
